eCWIP Schools & Academies Annual Business Forum 18th March 2020
We are now holding our annual eCWIP Schools and Academies Business Forum of 2020. This will be held on 18th March 2020 at Forest Hills Hotel, Overton Hill, Frodsham, Cheshire, WA6 6HH.
We will be showcasing all of our eCWIP Services for the coming academic year. This will give you the opportunity to speak to service managers directly about their products and services, ensuring you are fully equipped with the knowledge and understanding of what that service brings to your schools and academies prior to you buying into it for another year(s).
It will be a half day event (09:00-13:00) and lunch will be provided.
We feel that this will be a valuable session and it is something that we have developed following your feedback where you told us that we needed to spend more time with schools/academies, helping them understand how the services will benefit them rather than just sending out information and asking you to opt in. We want you to leave the event having a thorough understanding of all the services provided through eCWIP. The full catalogue of services and prices will be released by April where schools and academies will then be able chose their services for the coming 2020/21 buyback.
Services will have designated stands at the event where you can speak to officers directly during the networking sessions about any specific issues/queries that you may have for their relevant areas.
Can you please register your attendance using the link attached no later than 11th March 2020 here
If there is anything specific that is of particular concern or interest to you that you think would fit in with the format of the event then please either mention on the registration form or email us at email@example.com and we will try to ensure that it is covered where possible. The final itinerary will be released to schools no later than the week before the event.
We are working hard to improve the way in which we provide services to schools and welcome your feedback and attendance at these events.

Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses are for everyone who works with, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. The courses aim to teach you the skills and confidence to spot the signs of mental health issues in a young person, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. In doing so, you can speed up a young person’s recovery and/or stop a mental health issue from getting worse.
What is mental health?
Anxiety and depression
Suicide and psychosis
Self harm and eating disorders
A model for giving Mental Health First Aid
The courses won't teach you to be a therapist, but we will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis.
The courses aim to give you the information and skills to look after your own mental health so that you can set an example for young people. By giving you the tools to have these conversations, we hope to empower you to create a mentally healthy, supportive environment in your family, school, peer group or community.
