Emergency First Aid Qualsafe Awards Level 3 (1 day)
This Qualsafe course aims to provide familiarity of the principles of first aid so that the trained can deal with a first aid emergency effectively until help arrives.
Mental Health First Aid Training-Youth: (MHFAT:Y) - 1 day
Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses are for everyone who works with, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. The courses aim to teach you the skills and confidence to spot the signs of mental health issues in a young person, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. In doing so, you can speed up a young person’s recovery and/or stop a mental health issue from getting worse.
The five broad topic areas include:
• What is mental health?
• Anxiety and depression
• Suicide and psychosis
• Self harm and eating disorders
• A model for giving Mental Health First Aid
